הִילדֶה שִמחֶה נפטרה Hilde Simche passed

בכאב רב אנו נפרדים מחברתנו היקרה, הִילדֶה שִמחֶה מקיבוץ נצר סרני, אשר נפטרה ביום שלישי י”ח באדר א’ תשפ”ד 27.2.2024 והיא בת 100. הִילדֶה הצילה את חייה באושוויץ בהיותה חברת תזמורת הנשים בבירקנאו. בנובמבר 1944 גורשה עם חברות התזמורת היהודיות לברגן-בלזן ושם שוחררה ב-15 באפריל 1945. עד לשחרור עמדה בראש הקבוצה והנהיגה אותה בקשיים רבים. היא זכתה לגדל משפחה מפוארת.

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear friend, Hilde Simche from Kibbutz Netzer Sereni, who passed away on Tuesday 27.2.2024 and she is 100 years old. Hilde saved herself in Auschwitz by being a member of the women’s orchestra in Birkenau. In November 1944, she was deported with the Jewish girls of the orchestra to Bergen-Belsen, where she was liberated on April 15, 1945. Until the liberation, she headed the group and led it through many difficulties. She was fortunate to raise a A magnificent family.
