גינוי לשרת ההסברה Condemnation to the minister of information

ארגון שארית הפליטה ברגן-בלזן בישראל מוחה בחריפות נגד דבריה של שרת ההסברה גלית דיסטל אטבריאן, שבהם התנערה מהסבל שעברו יהודי אירופה וצפון אפריקה בשואה:
“שנים הזדעזעתי מזילות השואה, אבל אני כבר לא מזדעזעתוזה המשפחות שלכם שנשרפו שם!”.
כך תת־הכרה נפרשת כמו מניפה, והמילה הזו, “שלכם”, מלמדת כל כך הרבה. שלכם ולא שלי. שלכם ולא שלנו.” (חן ארצי-סרור, ידיעות אחרונות 16.3.2023)
זו שרת ההסברה של מדינת ישראל…
אנו קוראים לשרה ולדומיה להשיל נעליהם מעל רגליהם ולא לשתף את הסבל הנוראי, שעברו חברינו הניצולים והורינו, בפוליטיקה בזויה.
ואנא, ללא “דבריי הוצאו מהקשרם”. שר בממשלה אמור לשמור על מוצא פיו ולחשוב מראש בטרם יפגע בנושא קדוש, בוודאי מי שמתיימר לעסוק בהסברה. לולי הניצולים ומשפחותיהם, שחרפו נפשם להגיע לישראל ולסייע בהקמתה, לא הייתה השרה מגיעה לעמדה כזו. הסירי ידייך הלא נקיות מנושא קדוש זה! חרפה ובושה!
Our organization strongly protests against the words of Minister of Information Galit Distel Atabrian, in which she denied the suffering of the Jews of Europe and North Africa in the Holocaust:
“For years I was shocked by the disrespect of the Holocaust, but I am no longer shocked and it is your families who were burned there!”

This is the Minister of Information of the State of Israel…
We call on her to drop her shoes from her feet and not share the terrible suffering that our fellow survivors and our parents went through, in despicable politics.
And please, no “my words were taken out of context”. A minister in the government should keep his mouth shut and think ahead before offending a sacred subject, certainly one who claims to engage in advocacy. If it were not for the survivors and their families, who sacrificed their lives to come to Israel and help in its establishment, this minister would not have reached such a position. Remove your unclean hands from this sacred subject! It is Disgrace and shame!
