ארגון ברגן-בלזן מרכין את ראשו בעצב רב עם פטירתה של ידידתנו ראומה וייצמן, אשת הנשיא עזר וייצמן.
ראומה נטלה חלק גדול מאוד בניהול בית הילדים ב-בְּלַנקִינֶזֶה, שהיה לו קשר הדוק למחנה העקורים ברגן-בלזן.
בזכותה ובזכות חברותיה זכו ילדים רבים לשיקום ולחיים טובים יותר בדרך לעלייה לארץ ישראל.
בכל שנותיה נטתה חיבה גדולה לארגון, ואף כתבה מכתב המלצה לגרמניה עבור יוכי ריץ-אולבסקי ואחיה אריה אולבסקי.
חבל על דאבדין ולא משתכחין.

The Bergen-Belsen Organization in Israel bows its head with great sadness at the passing of our friend Reuma Weizmann, wife of President Ezer Weizmann.
Reuma played a very large role in the management of the children's home in Blankenese, which had close ties to the Bergen-Belsen DP camp.
Thanks to her and her friends, many children were rehabilitated and given a better life on the way to immigrating to the Land of Israel.
Throughout her years, she had a great affection for the organization, and even wrote a letter of recommendation to Germany for Jochi Ritz-Olewski and her brother Arie Olewski.
We will never forget her.
