כנס חברי הארגון לדורותיהם לציון 80 שנה לשחרור ברגן-בלזן
15 במאי 2025 י"ז אייר תשפ"ה, מלון "רנסנס", חוף הים תל-אביב
מי שלא היה – הפסיד!
זה היה אחד המפגשים המרגשים ביותר בשנים האחרונות. מאה חברות וחברים, ניצולות וניצולים, יחד עם ילידי מחנה העקורים ברגן-בלזן ובני המשפחות של דור שני, שלישי ורביעי, היו עדים לחגיגת שחרור אמיתית ונוגעת ללב.
החלטנו בהנהלה להפיק מפגש מיוחד למועד המיוחד הזה, משהו שלנו, ישראלי, כמו שנהגו אבותינו בעבר. ההכנות לאירוע נמשכו זמן רב, וחברות וחברי ההנהלה המתנדבים השקיעו עמל רב כדי לגרום למפגש מיוחד במינו.
התחלנו את האירוע בשעות הבוקר, ומי שהשכיל להקדיש כמה שעות למפגש ההיסטורי הזה, זכה לחוויות נדירות. התכנסנו באכסניה המפוארת של מלון "רנסנס" בתל-אביב לכיבוד עשיר של בוקר. מפיקת הארוע הייתה ריקי זאבי-וולפוביץ, ואת התוכן העשיר של היום הזה הפיקה חברת ההנהלה תמר גלבוע-פישלר. פיני דריילינגר היה על הכספים, ורחל בבס וחגי דריילינגר הופקדו על רישום המגיעים. לשמחתנו, היה ביקוש יתר לקחת חלק במפגש, אולם היה עלינו לעמוד בתקציב מוגבל ובהתחייבות כלפי המלון, ולכן נאלצנו לדחות אנשים רבים וטובים שלא נרשמו בהקדם.
כבר בדברי הפתיחה שלי ציינתי את נוכחותם של הניצולות והניצולים. חברנו היקר זכריה זדרמן חגג באותו יום 100 שנים להולדתו! הקהל הריע לו וכולנו שרנו לו. בנוסף, זכינו לשמוע ממנו ברכת "שהחיינו" מרגשת וחד-פעמית. לצערנו, בהמשך הבוקר הוא חש שלא בטוב וחזר לביתו. את השי המיוחד לניצולים זכתה למסור לו בביתו חברת ההנהלה רחל בבס. למרבה הצער, זכריה נפטר לאחר כשבוע והובא לקבר ישראל, במדינה שאליה שאף להגיע עוד בהיותו במחנה העקורים ברגן-בלזן. הוא זכה להקים כאן משפחה מסורה לתפארת. אשרינו שזכינו להיות איתו בימיו האחרונים.
הכנס עמד בסימן "ניצולי ברגן-בלזן בישראל לאחר 80 שנה".
לאחר הדלקת 6 נרות זיכרון בידי ניצולות וניצולים [לולה ברמן, מרתה פלטו-לדני, רחל רובין, אהרון רייך, חנה שופר] על רקע שירה בציבור של "ניגונים", הקריא שלמה גולדברג את ה"יזכור" לקורבנות השואה ו"יזכור" לעילוי נשמות חללי צה"ל, כשהקהל הרב מכבד את ההקראה בעמידה.
בהמשך הוקרן סרטון על שחרור ברגן-בלזן בליווי דיווח מאז של הכתב הידוע של ה-BBC ריצ'רד דימבלבי.
ענת זייף-גלבוע הקריאה את "אני עובדה!", שירה של הלינה בירנבאום, ניצולת שואה, סופרת, מתרגמת ומשוררת.
השיר "מי יישאר מה יישאר? של המשורר החשוב ביידיש אברהם סוצקבר ז"ל, שהארגון שלנו הוציא לאור ספרים שלו, הושמע בהקלטה של השחקן רמי ברוך.
בעקבות השאלות שמציב השיר הזה, ניסינו לענות באמצעות 3 עדויות של 3 ניצולים:
עדות מוקלטת של רוניה (טרייסטר) פישלר ז"ל; נכדותיה ענבר אלמגור וענת זייף-גלבוע סיפרו על המשפחה שרוניה הקימה.
עדות מוקלטת של תמר לנדאו, ובתה יעל לנדאו סיפרה על משפחתה.
עדות חיה ומרגשת מפי שלמה גולדברג, יליד מחנה העקורים. נכדו, יותם וייל, שר את השיר "הן אפשר".
במהלך האירוע היה ארבל פישלר אחראי להשמעת שירים בשירה בציבור.
ריקי זאבי-וולפוביץ סיכמה את האירוע.
לאחר מכן הענקנו שי סימלי מיוחד לניצולות והניצולים שכיבדו אותנו בנוכחותם. גלוית כנס לניצולים
כל הנוכחים זכו לקבל שי מזכרת מיוחד שהנפקנו לרגל שנת ה-80. 
לסיום, קיימנו דיון אודות עתיד הארגון ועתיד אתר ברגן-בלזן בימים אלה ובשנים הקרובות.
הטקס הסתיים בשירת "התקווה", ממש כמו אז, לפני 80 שנה.
ארוחת צהריים עשירה חיכתה לנוכחים, במיטב המסורת של הארגון בשנים שעברו.

התגובות הנרגשות שקיבלנו אישרו את הצלחת האירוע.

A conference to mark the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Bergen-Belsen

Whoever was not there – missed out!
This was one of the most moving gatherings in recent years. One hundred friends, survivors, together with those born in the Bergen-Belsen DP camp and second-, third- and fourth-generation family members, witnessed a true and touching celebration of liberation.
We at the management, decided to produce a special gathering for this special occasion, something of ours, Israeli, as our ancestors did in the past. The preparations for the event took a long time, and the volunteer members of the management invested a lot of effort to make it a one-of-a-kind gathering.
We started the event in the morning, and those who were able to devote a few hours to this historic gathering were granted rare experiences. We gathered in the luxurious lobby of the Renaissance Hotel in Tel Aviv for a morning of rich refreshments. The event was produced by Riki Ze'evi-Wolfowitz, and the rich content of the day was produced by the board member Tamar Gilboa-Fischler. Pini Dreilinger was in charge of the finances, and Rachel Bebes and Hagai Dreilinger were entrusted with the registration of attendees. Fortunately, there was an overwhelming demand to take part in the meeting, but we had to meet a limited budget and a limited space by the hotel, so we had to turn away many good people who did not register as soon as possible.
Already In my opening words, I mentioned the presence of the survivors. Our dear friend Zecharia Zederman celebrated his 100th birthday that day! The audience cheered him on, and we all sang for him. In addition, we were privileged to hear him in a moving and unique "Shehechyanu" greeting. Unfortunately, later in the morning he felt unwell and returned home. The special gift for the survivors was presented to him at his home by board member Rachel Bebes. Unfortunately, Zecharia passed away about a week later and was buried in Israel, a country he had longed to arrive while still in the Bergen-Belsen DP camp. He was blessed to have raised a great family here that was devoted to him. We were blessed to have been with him in his final days.
The conference was entitled "Bergen-Belsen Survivors in Israel 80 Years Later."
After the lighting of 6 memorial candles by survivors [Lola Berman, Martha Flato-Ladani, Rachel Rubin, Aharon Reich, Hanna Shufer] against the backdrop of public singing of "Niggunim", Shlomo Goldberg read the "Yizkor" for the victims of the Holocaust and the "Yizkor" for the souls of the fallen IDF soldiers, with the large audience respecting the reading by standing.
A documentary video about the liberation time of Bergen-Belsen was then shown, accompanied by a report from that time by the well-known BBC correspondent Richard Dimbleby.
Anata Zeif-Gilboa read "I am a fact!", a poem by Halina Birnbaum, a Holocaust survivor, writer, translator and poet.
The poem "Who Will Remain, What Will Remain?" by the important Yiddish poet Avraham Sutzkever, whose books were published by our organization, was played in a recording by the actor Rami Baruch.
Following the questions posed by this song, we tried to answer them through 3 testimonies of 3 survivors:
A recorded testimony by Runia (Treister) Fischler, z"l; her granddaughters Inbar Almagor and Anat Zeif-Gilboa talked about the family Runia founded.
A recorded testimony by Tamar Landau, and her daughter Yael Landau spoke about her family.
A vivid and moving testimony by Shlomo Goldberg, born in the DP camp. His grandson, Yotam Weil, sang the song "It's possible".
During the event, Arbel Fischler was playing songs for public singing.
Riki Ze'evi-Wolfowitz concluded the event.
Afterwards, we presented a special symbolic gift to the survivors who honored us with their presence. All those present received a special souvenir gift that we issued for the occasion of the 80th anniversary.
Finally, we held a discussion about the future of the organization and the future of the Bergen-Belsen site these days and in the coming years.
The ceremony ended with the singing of "Hatikva", just like then, 80 years ago.
A rich lunch awaited our members, in the best tradition of the organization in past years.

The excited responses we received confirmed the success of the event.
The management and I look forward, together with you, to the future, and we will do everything we can to bring you rich content and events of the high level that we have led.
We all hope for the release of all our kidnapped brothers and sisters as soon as possible!
We will continue to raise your voice against the disturbing changes in Bergen-Belsen in Germany, and we will update from time to time.
